Caitlin M. Dermody

Caitlin M. Dermody is the Research Assistant to NCCF Co-Director Sharon Lynn Kagan. Caitlin earned her Master’s degree in Child Development and Education from the University of Oxford as a Rotary Global Grant Scholar. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Yale University as an Education Studies Scholar. Before joining NCCF, Caitlin acted as a consultant for the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning and interned at the Brookings Institution’s Brown Center on Education Policy. Caitlin has experience both inside and outside of the early childhood classroom, and her research interests include national and international early childhood education policy, child development centered early childhood education practices, and the early childhood education workforce.
