Macedonia National In-Service Training

UNICEF Macedonia, in conjunction with the Macedonian government, is sponsoring the development of a multiple-module In-Service Training Course (ISTC) for its early childhood teaching workforce. The course will be developed by those knowledgeable with the country, and will draw upon the latest research and the most current examples of in-service professional development. As part of this multi-stage project, NCCF has been contracted to conduct a thorough review of international examples of promising practices related to both in-service and pre-service professional development programs. In addition to and informed by this document, NCCF is also providing an intensive workshop to provide hands-on training and guidance to those involved in the development of the ISTC on how to develop the structure, content, and processes required for each module in the ISTC.
