Teacher Training Policies in Armenia

With the expansion of public services for young children in Armenia, the country has embarked on efforts to redesign teacher training and professional development programs in the country.  With support from UNICEF, NCCF is working with early childhood specialists and leaders in the country to revamp teacher training policies.  Accompanying this work, the review of the linkages between standards, curriculum, and assessments for children will be considered; their implications for ECD professional development are being incorporated into the revised plan for teacher certification.
